Twemed General Suppliers Limited sells solar water pumps and solar home systems to farmers in western Uganda.
The solar home systems act as a substitute for wood fuel and traditional kerosene lamps (tadoba) for lighting homes. Therefore, it saves the depleting forest cover and the users’ health from the smoke
produced by the kerosene lamps.
