10 & 13 NOVEMBER 2020 | ONLINE SESSIONS

The Uganda Green Enterprise Finance Accelerator (UGEFA) invited key actor in the Ugandan entrepreneurial ecosystem to join for (online) interactive UGEFA Green Finance Dialogue sessions to explore: 

What do green enterprises in key sectors want to spend money on?

What economic, social and environmental impacts result from these investments?

These UGEFA Green Finance Dialogue sessions were sector-specific, targeting key stakeholders based on sector(s) in which they and the enterprises they support are operating. You are welcome to explore the outputs of each session at the links below.

Clean Energy | 10 November, 10:00 – 11:30am EAT: What financing is needed by businesses that offer clean energy products and services – such as solar energy, biogas, clean cookstoves or cooking fuels, and more – to households or institutions? View session results here.

Green Manufacturing | 13 November, 10:00 – 11:30am EAT: What financing is needed by businesses that manufacture products – beauty products, processed foods (like coffee or honey), fuel, textile fibres and more – made from organic or environmentally friendly inputs? View session results here.

Sustainable Tourism | 13 November, 14:00 – 15:30pm EAT: What financing is needed by businesses that offer tourism services – such as accommodation, tours or excursions – which support local communities while protecting wildlife and natural landscapes? View session results here.
